Hello everyone welcome back. Have a really cool quick episode for you today it’s a tool that I recently discovered and it’s helped a ton in my business and you may not be using that you may have heard of it but you may not be using that.

And this is gonna help with a lot of things it has a lot of functionality and it’s really simple to implement and that is Google forms so Google forms is a free tool that Google provides to where you can create a form of any sort any type to monitor any sort of item and you can easily share it with your team members with whoever you need to 1 area of my business I have to admit I maybe haven’t done the best job that is monitoring how much I’m spending on housekeeping supplies on Lennon’s in this is really important especially the bigger you get the more this is going to be important so that you know how much to budget for all these replacement costs in Google forms makes this really easy you can for example set up a Google form for your housekeeping staff for supply orders so you can easily going and literally in like 1020 minutes you can set this form up that has everything you know coffee toilet paper laundry detergent soap bleach whatever it is you can plug all these items into the form and simply share it with the link so your housekeepers can save it on their phone they just pulled up its mobile friendly they can plug in what it is it’s going to track the date and now the the really cool piece of this is that you can easily link it to a a Google sheets or like an excel file in the background so every item that gets entered into this form is automatically going to get put into this back in the excel sheet with the date stamp with all the items and so you’ll never lose track of anything now if you have someone doing all of your supply orders maybe that’s. You are maybe that’s your housekeeper even they can store that in there and then they can just check things off one by one as a order on and even put a price. Column in the excel sheet so that you can make it easier on your bookkeeping and so after you’ve entered a few of these responses you can going to Google it’s really cool it’ll break it down for you an overview really of what items you’re ordering most often who’s ordering them so if you shared this form with multiple people you can see who’s using it the most and it may it’s gonna make it really easy for you to to know to get a good grasp on how much money you’re spending on a monthly basis or whatever time frame so that you can track your business better monitor things better and also delegate these tasks so you know if housekeepers entering in the form and the form goes your manager who orders the supplies and then after the supplies ordered the excel sheet is shared with your bookkeeper you just eliminate yourself from that whole process but you have everything tracked so it’s but it’s really really a fantastic tool so what are some other things you might want to use this for just consider.

That could be maintenance so you could have a separate one for maintenance forms of a housekeeper when they show up to an apartment find that something’s broken they can simply fill out a maintenance form you can share that with your maintenance person.

Let’s say you just want to do a survey on some of your guests outside of the review receive on Airbnb or homeaway or wherever you’re at you can do that and all those responses are saved and the best thing about the tools that it’s free and it seriously only takes a few minutes to implement to use so you can brand it as well you can put your company logo on there or whatever so check it out I highly recommend it it’s been a really cool tool that I just discovered and especially if you use all of the other Google suite you know when you’re used to sharing docs and shared folders and things like that is just one more piece that fits right in she got nothing to lose 15 minutes bom check it out I guarantee you’ll help yeah hope that helps you guys and look forward to chatting with you next time.
